I am a full-time practicing photographer located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

I specialize in Real Estate photography as well as Urban and Rural Landscapes.

In 2010 my wife and I closed the wine import agency we owned in Alberta and moved from Calgary back to Vancouver, B.C. At the urging of family and friends I started a small real estate photography business in 2011 operating under the name of english bay photo. Samples of my real estate photography can be seen on englishbayphoto.com and my new real estate photography site - perfecthomepix.com

I have no "formal" education in photography. My knowledge of the photographic process comes through experience and numerous photography courses taken over a few decades. The first photography course I took taught me about the Ansel Adams Zone System and the most recent education at an institution was attending a continuing education photography course at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. I continually participate in an abundance of online training seminars and specialty online courses.

While photographing homes for realtors is my "job", I have a passion for the landscape around me and devote half of my time documenting my urban and rural surroundings. When time permits, I travel through BC and Alberta, a camera always with me to capture a moment.

My photographic images can be found on several social media sites including Facebook and Google +
