Hubbard Full Frontal Day 347Hubbard Full Frontal Day 347

Original taken August 2006 : Nikon D100, Nikkor 24-85 Lens (click image for large view)

Hubbard Glacier, full frontal view from way out in Disenchantment Bay. The Valerie Glacier coming around the mountain valley on the left, and a bit "dirtier" merges with Hubbard, the much larger Glacial outflow on the right. You can see where the glacial water mixes with the water from Yukatat Bay with it's source being the North Pacific Ocean. The glacier water has turquoise tint while the warmer waters from the Pacific have more blue.
