Night Has A Thousand Eyes

June 16, 2018

A Thousand EyesA Thousand Eyes The theme for the June Shift Art Challenge was "The Mysterious ______".  The idea was to create a feeling of mystery and invite the viewer to play along imagining the unexpected, or include an unexpected element.

Here we have Edward G. Rodentson, starring in the 1948 Film Noir of the same name, peering out into the dark with a few of his demons waiting for him. Or perhaps it's Bobby V singing in his 1962 hit song in a Scopitone. Either way, night is the most fearful time for many, when our imaginations run wild and out of control. Don't believe me? Go for a walk in a dark forest at 1 in the morning and tell me you don't feel just a tad bit nervous, even though you can't see or hear anything.
